Plexus was formed in the summer of 2005 by five founding principals, each of whom shared a desire to provide growth oriented financing solutions to companies operating in the lower middle-market. The founding principals rejoined forces, having previously worked together at RBC Bank where they were involved with Centura Capital, RBC's bank-owned Small Business Investment Company (“SBIC”). The principals share a complimentary value-oriented investment approach and partnering philosophy built on years of personal and professional interaction. Plexus had its final closing on Plexus Capital Fund I (the "Fund") in December 2005.
